The France-based Pellenc Group is an innovator and manufacturer of such specialty crop equipment as self-propelled and towed harvesters, vineyard tractors, heads and attachments, and hand tools for grape, olive, and other crops.
Read More (About Pellenc )Based in Pertuis, France, and founded in 1973, Pellenc Group is an innovator in the specialty crop market that takes a multifunction approach to its machinery along with strides toward environmental protection. Pellenc primarily focuses on grapes, but produces a line of olive equipment for sale, as well. In addition to self-propelled and towed harvesters, Pellenc sells vineyard tractors that can perform nearly any task in combination with front- and rear-mounted heads and attachments, including harvesting systems, hedger pruners, trimmers, rakes, shakers, sprayers, cultivators, box spreaders, and tying machines.
Pellenc also produces numerous electrically powered hand tools for pruning, tying, cultivating, chainsaw applications, and green-space maintenance. A signature Pellenc feature is a battery pack that users carry behind their lower back on a shoulder harness. The Pellenc Group employs about 1,700 employees and has 800-plus distributors around the world. The company claims to have about 20 subsidiaries, seven industrial sites, and half a million customers worldwide.
For grape production and harvesting, Pellenc has a MultiViti chassis that can adapt most inter-row and over-row straddle tractors for use with Pellenc vineyard attachments. With MultiViti, operators can equip a tractor for pruning, pre-pruning, trimming, and trellising (simultaneous lifting, attaching, and trimming) among other things. Elsewhere, for those who want a tractor built with Pellenc quality, there’s the Optimum multifunction carrier that supports front and rear attachments, including spreaders, harvesters, sprayers, and wire lifters.
For narrow vineyards, Pellenc sells the three-wheeled 130 and four-wheeled 330 over-row straddle tractors. The self-propelled Optimum 530 to 890 harvesters, meanwhile, focus on ecological sensitivity, maneuverability, controllability, and efficiency in crop recovery and cleaning. Pellenc also markets 8000 Series pull-type harvesters. Current models 8030 and 8035 are mechanical heads, while the 8050 and 8090 models are Easy Smart heads with in-cab adjustment support.
For post-harvest grape processing, Pellenc also sells numerous standalone machines, including the Selectiv’ Process Winery de-stemmer/sorter, the Selectiv’ Process Vision 2 sorter, and the Extractiv’ 2 crusher. For olive production needs, the company offers the Pellenc Mavo self-propelled olive harvester and Towed Olive CV5045 pull-type harvester, as well as the Buggy Maxi 5000 trunk shaker, F100 and FB15 HD shaker attachments, and the Olivion-powered handheld harvesting rake.
SpecialtyCropEQ.com has a huge selection of new and used harvesting and production equipment for grapes, olives, nuts, and other specialty crops, including new and used Pellenc specialty agricultural equipment for sale.
