In sales, exposure is everything. With Sandhills Global’s Pre-AuctionTime, your assets get unrivaled visibility ahead of auction day by opening the door to wholesale and retail sales opportunities. Simply click the Pre-AuctionTime checkbox when listing an asset on AuctionTime.com, and it will appear on Fast Track Iron, Sandhills’ exclusive network for wholesale buyers.

Pre-AuctionTime assets also appear as featured listings toward the top of search results on AuctionTime.com and industry-relevant trade sites like TractorHouse.com, TruckPaper.com, and MachineryTrader.com.

It’s quick and easy to use Pre-AuctionTime and costs nothing. Check the box to take advantage of wholesale and retail sale opportunities prior to auction day.

“Pre-AuctionTime engages both end users and wholesale buyers to get sellers the maximum amount of exposure—more than any other process on the market,” says Sandhills Sales Manager Mitch Helman. “No other process has Machinery Trader, Truck Paper, TractorHouse, and MarketBook as the engine driving this exposure and success.”

Nothing To Lose, Everything To Gain

It costs nothing to use Pre-AuctionTime, and if your asset doesn’t sell during the pre-auction period, it seamlessly transitions to AuctionTime—no extra steps are required. Roughly 40% of Pre-AuctionTime assets sell before they get a chance to move to auction. And those that don’t typically bring higher bids at auction, thanks to the added exposure generated in the weeks prior to the sale.

“Pre-AuctionTime is a game-changer in the equipment liquidation process,” Helman says. “It gives sellers the ability and control to pre-sell units for more than the auction pricing. Ultimately, that brings higher overall returns when cost-averaging the net return of the entire package after the auction is completed.”

When an asset is listed with Pre-AuctionTime, two email blasts are sent to the members of the Fast Track Iron network, including a “last chance” email indicating the item will only be available at the listed price for a short time before moving to auction.

    Blast Assets To Targeted Buyers

In addition to the exposure mentioned above, two email blasts are sent to dealers when you list an item with Pre-AuctionTime: one immediately after the asset is listed, and another shortly before auction day, which helps to create a sense of urgency with buyers.

Both email blasts include asset details, a link to the online listing, the auction date, and buttons to buy the item and apply for financing through CurrencyFinance.

On Sandhills trade sites, sellers can increase their chances of a quick sale by tagging the asset with an aggressive, buyer-friendly price. Importantly, customers using MachineryTrader.com, TruckPaper.com, and other Sandhills platforms won’t know the asset is headed to auction.
