New Holland T4 F Wins Farm Machine 2023 In Best Specialized Tractor Category

By adding its VisionView cab to the new T4 F/N/V Series, New Holland continues to improve its compact line of specialty tractors. The Farm Machine awards jury at Sima also took note of the enhancements, recognizing the T4 F with a Farm Machine 2023 award in the Best Specialized Tractor category.

“New Holland has remained at the forefront of the specialty tractor segment for seven decades, earning its position as the undisputed leader by constantly innovating and upgrading our products,” says New Holland Agriculture Tractors Product Management Leader Global, Oscar Baroncelli. “The T4 F/N/V VisionView cab and T4K raise the bar once again redesigning completely the products around customer needs.”

Comfort In A Compact Space

The narrow cab on T4 F/N/V Series will never be as spacious as its bigger New Holland tractor siblings, but with the VisionView cab, New Holland is able to offer a four-pillar cab with large full-panel windows that doesn’t reduce the operator’s working space or impair visibility. All-around visibility is also enhanced by the new low-height hood. The VisionView cab provides leading protection for operators, meeting the latest filtration and pressurization standards with its Blue Cab 4 Category 2 and Category 4 air filtration system. In-cab sounds levels are just 71 dB(A). To simplify operation, the T4 F/N/V Series now includes the InfoView digital instrument cluster that has proven popular on New Holland’s T7 and T8 tractors.

Power Upgrades

New Holland says the F5C FPT engine on the new T4 F/N/V tractors offers 40% lower emissions than its predecessor, all while achieving 382 pounds-foot (518 newton-meters) of torque at just 1,300 rpm. The T4K series of crawler tractors also received an update, with the open field models boasting more powerful Stage V engines in power outputs from 85 to 109 horsepower (63 to 81 kilowatts). T4K narrow models are equipped with a 75 HP (56 kW) Stage V-compliant engine.
