Landini Announces New Stage V-Compliant REX3 Series Tractors For 2022

Landini recently announced its new product lineup for the 2022 model year, including the new Stage V-compliant REX3 Series tractors. The REX3 has a new hood design and innovative technologies that made it a finalist for the Tractor of the Year 2021 award in the Best of Specialized category.

About The REX3 F-GE Series

The compact REX3 is ideal for work in vineyard, orchard, horticulture, and greenhouse operations. The tractor has a 76.7-inch (1,950-millimetre) wheelbase and 8.4 in. (213 mm) of ground clearance. The external width ranges from 53 to 63.6 in. (1,350 to 1,617 mm), depending on the model. The REX3 is available in platform, low-profile cab, and standard cab versions. The cab’s four-pillar construction and rear-hinged doors allow easy access and all-around visibility.

REX3 Series tractors are powered by Kohler four-cylinder, 16-valve, 2.5-litre Stage V-compliant engines with either 68 or 75 horsepower (50 or 55 kilowatts). Both engines reach their maximum torque of 232 pounds-foot (315 newton-metres) at 1,500 rpm. Operators can use the tractors’ Engine Memo Switch to store and quickly recall engine speed settings when passing from one activity to another, and a 13.2-gallon (50-L) diesel tank keeps the tractor working all day.

The tractor’s 16 + 16 transmission allows for speeds from 0.25 to 25 mph (0.4 to 40 km/h) with creeper and has a mechanical reverse shuttle control on the steering wheel. Options include dual-speed power take-off (PTO), front hitch and PTO, split quick connections, and support for mid-mounted and front implements.

Versatile Machines

The 7.2- to 8.2-ft (2.2- to 2.5-m)-wide REX3 F-GE series moves easily among orchard rows and can maneuver tight spaces for specialized crops as well as handling everyday farm applications. The Low-Profile Cab can be used in vineyards with pergola and trellis systems or in greenhouses. To add to its versatility, the range can also be equipped with a front lift with a maximum capacity of 2,205 pounds (1,000 kilograms).
