The Landini Mistral2’s extremely compact dimensions (4.1 feet/1.26 meters wide, with a 70.8-inch/1,798-millimeter wheel base) contribute to the maneuverability it needs to tackle specialized applications around the farm, as well as the versatility to take on municipal and landscaping jobs. Landini equips the Mistral2 with a Kohler 1.9-liter, three-cylinder engine compliant with Stage V emission standards. The Mistral 2-055 is rated for 49 horsepower (36.5 kilowatts) and the Mistral 2-060 offers 57 HP (42.5 kW).

Standard & GE Platforms

Specialized operations in need of a lower height can select the Mistral2 GE (Ground Effect) configuration, which features a hood height of 3.7 ft (1.1 m) on the 2-055 and 3.95 ft (1.2 m) on the 2-060. The Standard configuration raises the hood height to 4 ft (1.22 m) and 4.3 ft (1.3 m), respectively, while also introducing the option for a cab. Landini can equip the Mistral2 with either 20- or 24-inch rear tires. No matter the configuration, the Mistral2’s gross vehicle weight is 6,724 pounds (3,050 kilograms).

Special Features

The Mistral2 includes Landini’s Engine Memo Switch that lets operators save engine rpm settings and quickly load power levels using the right control console. The mechanical transmission features a creeper setting for work at slow speeds. For attachment versatility, the rear three-point hitch lifts 2,645 lbs (1,200 kg) and a front-lift system (available with or without power take-off) supports 882 lbs (400 kg).
