DEUTZ-FAHR Shows Off ComfortTrack Rubber Track Chain On 5KF Crawler
At the 50th Northwest Agriculture Show in Salem, Oregon, DEUTZ-FAHR presented its rubber ComfortTrack track chain for the first time in North America. ComfortTrack is said to improve tractor stability and soil protection, and when combined with DEUTZ-FAHR’s 5KF or 5KM Series crawlers, the smooth-driving rubber tracks complement the tractor’s handiness with specialized jobs like vineyard and forestry work.
Get To Know The 5KF & 5KM Series
DEUTZ-FAHR equips the 5KF and 5KM series with a compact structure and low-slung driving position that makes it a good choice for inter-row cultivation. Both tractor series feature a single-piece cowl with center-mounted headlamps; the design allows unimpeded access to all parts subject to maintenance. The two tractor series also have the power for general-purpose work, thanks to the FARMotion three- (5KF Series) and four-cylinder (5KM Series) turbo-intercooled engines with an electronic engine management system that minimizes fuel consumption, emissions, vibrations, and noise.
Celebrating 50 Years
The Northwest Ag Show started off as a way to increase the attendance for the Oregon’s Horticultural Society’s annual meeting. Now held at the Oregon State Fair & Expo Center, the show took place January 15 through 17 and featured more than 120 exhibitors and partners.
