AGCO Announces Lineup For 2019 National Farm Machinery Show

    Posted On: February 4, 2019

AGCO says the Fendt IDEAL combine harvester that will appear at the upcoming National Farm Machinery Show delivers what producers asked the company to include in a combine, namely “in-field efficiency, unfailing uptime, totally simple operation, and better grain quality.” (Photo courtesy of AGCO.)

Among the farm machinery brands falling under AGCO’s umbrella are Challenger, Fendt, Gleaner, Massey Ferguson, and White Planters. Attendees of the upcoming 2019 National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS) at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville from Feb. 13 to 16 will get to see equipment from each in person at AGCO’s booth, including Fendt’s award-winning IDEAL combine harvester, as well as balers and planters and sub-compact, midrange, and heavy-duty tractors.

    Fresh From The Field

Spanning more than 1.3 million square feet of indoor exhibit space, the NFMS will feature “virtually every major line of farming equipment under one roof,” organizers claim. That includes Fendt’s IDEAL, which made its North American debut last summer and won a 2019 ASABE (American Society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers) AE50 Award. Available in Class 7, 8, and 9 models, the IDEAL spent years in development and features what AGCO says is the industry’s first clean-sheet design of an axial combine in 30 years.

Besides new “styling, operator comfort, and ergonomics enhancements,” the GC1723E and GC1725M models from Massey Ferguson’s CG1700 Series of sub-compact tractors feature tilt steering, an integrated joystick, and a one-piece rubber floor mat. The series will appear at the upcoming National Farm Machinery Show. (Photo courtesy of AGCO.)

“Producer experience and field testing for Fendt IDEAL combines has been integral in the launch of this machine,” says Caleb Schleder, AGCO tactical marketing manager for harvesting. “We are excited North American farmers harvested their crops with the combine last fall, and proud it made a positive impression on producers who sat behind the wheel.” AGCO will stage an IDEAL Experience at NFMS that will entail attendees taking a self-guided walking tour of the IDEAL inside a grain bin at AGCO’s exhibit (Lots 7801 and 7823 in South Wing B).

Massey Ferguson’s 4100 RB Series is its first silage-specific baler. The machine, which will appear at the National Farm Machinery Show, is “engineered to deliver the throughput and reliability required for making bales from heavy, high-moisture crops or dry, coarse material such as corn stover or straw.” (Photo courtesy of AGCO.)
    But Wait, There’s More

Besides the IDEAL, AGCO will have numerous Massey Ferguson farm machines at NFMS, including 700, 800, and 1000 Series tractors, as well as the CG1700 Series of sub-compact tractors, 4100 RB Series Silage Baler, and 2270 large square baler from Hesson by Massey Ferguson. Elsewhere, AGCO will feature Gleaner’s S9 combine, White Planters’ 9924VE tracked planter, and Challenger’s MT723 tracked tractor.

If you’re in the market for tractors, round and square balers, harvesters, and other farm equipment from AGCO, Challenger, Fendt, Gleaner, Massey Ferguson, or White Planters, you'll find thousands of new and used farm machines for sale every day on TractorHouse.com.
